Emma (Mueller) Kennebeck has German Roots.

Descendant of Jacob Schmitt. Anna "Emma" was the maternal granddaughter of Jacob Schmitt, who was one of the three founders of Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois in August 1841, along with Nicholas Adams and Nicholas Frett.

John's first wife Anna M. Schaefer was nicknamed 'Emma'; his second wife, Anna M. Mueller, was also nicknamed 'Emma.' Wife Anna Mueller was a maternal cousin of wife Anna Schaefer.
