First marriage: Her first husband was Christian Jacob Schotter/ Shutter. They married in Frederick County, Maryland in Aug 1762 and had at least six children together (who are mentioned in Christian’s Will). He passed away about 1779. She passed away after 1785 in Frederick County, Maryland.

Notation on marriages of Mary Mueller to Christian Schotter/Shutter and William Andtes/Andis: “Wilhelm's second (or third) marriage was to Mary Shutter, widow of Christian Shutter. Under Guardian Bonds, 1778-1815, Frederick Co, MD, Pg 24, it shows that Wilhelm Antis declares he married Mary Shutter, Adm'r of Christian Shutter, Dec, and whose heirs were: John, Jacob, Christian, Catherine, Susannah, and Salomon Shutter. Until mid-1996, it was thought by the many serious researchers of genealogy of the ANDIS family that our immigrant ancestor, Wilhelm ANTES, had but two wives, Elizabeth (possibly REINHARD/REINHARDT) and Mary SHUTTERS.It was thought, based upon research of wills and marriage decrees of the 1700's, that Elizabeth bore all of Wilhelm's 12 children. He married Mary SHUTTERS after Elizabeth's passing away sometime after 1771/1772.

Anna Maria Mueller had married 1) Christian J. Schotter in 1762, and 2) Wilhelm Andtes, no date given."It is quite possible this Anna Maria Mueller-Schotter is Wilhelm's second (or third) wife.“….. excerpted

Regarding the marriage to Wilhelm Andis, I have just found information from "Andis and Gunn Pioneering Indiana: Information about Wilhelm Antes" on genealogy.com. It states that these records may be found, and excuse my taking the liberty of customary research format for some government publs.,
