Biography

Selma was born in 1900. She was the daughter of Rev. Carl Mueller and Julia, née Gundert. ^[1][2]

Selma was one of few women doctors in early 20th century

Selma’s father was a Lutheran minister who founded a few hospitals for German immigrants. This possibly sparked her interest in medicine and she became a doctor.

In 1940 Dr. Mueller was in practice with Dr. Elizabeth Colville Bagley in Duluth, Minnesota. ^[3]

Selma died in 1987. ^[4][5]
