Mrs. Steiner-Lynch passed away unexpectedly while visiting her daughter in St. Petersburg, Fla. on Tuesday, January 23, 1996, at the age of 79. She was born in Racine on November 14, 1916, to the late Joseph M. and Catherine (nee: Kressig) Mueller. On May 8, 1943, in Holy Name Catholic Church, she was united in marriage with Emerson "Jake" Steiner, who preceded her in death in 1968. On June 23, 1973, in Holy Name Church, she was united in marriage with Francis Lynch, who preceded her in death in 1976. Mrs. Steiner-Lynch had been employed by Walker Manufacturing from 1959 until 1973. She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and the Lakeshore Harmony Club as a Respite volunteer. Surviving are her son, Joseph (Diane) Steiner of Racine; daughter, Kathy (Curt) Clement of St. Petersburg, Fla.; grandchildren, Christine and Jennifer Steiner, Eric and Adam Clement; great-granddaughter, Eva Steiner; brother, Rev. Joseph J. Mueller of Racine; sisters, Marie (Hank) Matykowski of Columbus, Wis. and Catherine (Gerald) Geoghan of Racine; sister-in-law, Geraldine Mueller of Green Valley, Ariz.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Also preceding her in death was her brother, Larry Mueller. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 27, 1996, at 10 a.m. in Holy Name Catholic Church, 15th Street and Grand Avenue, with Rev. Joseph J. Mueller and Rev. Leon J. Schneider concelebrating. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Highway 32. Visitation will be AT THE CHURCH on Saturday from 8:45 a.m. until the time of the Mass.
