Elisibeth Muirhead was born in 1781 in Dumfries, Dumfriesshire, Scotland. She was the daughter of William Muirhead. She was baptized 20 Nov 1781 at the parish in Urr, Kirkcudbright, Scotland. in the county of Dumfries.[1]
In about 1803 she married William MacLean, also from Dumfries, apparently in Rerrick Parish, Kirkbright, Scotland (see research notes) [2] Together they had at least 7 children.
The family to Nova Scotia, British Colony between 1801 and 1817. [2]
Elisabeth MacLean died on January 17, 1845 in Pictou, Nova Scotia.
