Biography
Xavier, son of Sifroi Muce and Madeleine Larade (deceased) was married to Louise, daughter of Simon LeBlanc and Marie Jordan on Jan 25, 1842.[1] They have the following children in the parish register;
- Simon - Jan 1, 1843
- Dominique - May 18, 1844
- Gabriel - Aug 28, 1845
- Marguerite - Jul 8, 1847
- Laurent - Nov 10, 1849
- Jude (twin) - Aug 13, 1852
- Simon (twin) - Aug 13, 1852
I believe Louise may have passed away before 1870 as it seems Xavier remarried on 28 Feb 1870 to Louisa, daughter of Dominique Chiasson and Janet AuCoin. They have additional children in the parish register;
- Frederick - 14 Aug 1871
- Charles - 21 Dec 1872
- Floris - 20 Apr 1875
This makes sense as Xavier (53) is on the 1871 census with wife Louisa (32) and children that are too old to possibly be theirs; Laurent (19), Jude (13), Ellen (12), Ellie (10), Mary (7) and married son Dominique (25) next door with wife Mary (25) and a grandchild Ann (2).[2]
