Joseph Muise is a descendant of an Acadian

Joseph Mathurin Muise from La-Pointe-des-Bens, Sluice Point, Nova Scotia was the son of George Mathurin Muise and Marie Therese Moulaison.[1]
He was born March 7, 1835[1], and was baptised October 4, 1835 at Ste. Anne's in Eel Brook, Nova Scotia.[1]
He married Madeleine Pothier, the daughter of Charles Amand Pothier II and Genevieve Babin, on April 24, 1865 at Ste. Anne's.[2]
The couple had at least 4 children:

1. Raymond born circa 1866[3]
2. Sara born circa 1868[3]
3. Maggie E. born a twin circa 1870[3]
4. James born a twin circa 1870[3]

Joseph Mathurin died August 8, 1917 in Sluice Point, Nova Scotia.[4]
