Biography

Anna Margaretha Müller ws born in 1711, in Zuzenhausen, Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg, in what is today Germany. She was a daughter of Ludwig Müller (1671-1717) and Anna Margaretha Unknown (~1680- aft. 1748).

Immigration: before 1727 to Philadelphia, with her mother and stepfather, Erasmus Buggenmeyer (1695-1748)

Residence: 1748, in Berks County Pennsylvania.

Anna Margaretha Müller first married Friderich Elberscheidt (1707- bef. 1743); he died in Pennsylvania.

About 1743, she remarried to Michael Reiss (1713-1766). They had the following children:

1. Anna Catharina (1743-1826) m John Jacob Knoll (~1743-1784); 10 children
2. Magdalena (1745- )
3. John (1747-1831) m Anna Maria Seibert (1749-1797); 2 children
