Research Notes

Samuel Norwood is said to have been born in 1669, [6] which would make him aged 61 at the time of his marriage to a 16 year old girl. Such a "May and December" relationship was not unheard of, but needs further research for confirmation!Day-1904 05:30, 11 August 2017 EDT)

Mullikin-183 and Mulliken-21 appear to represent the same person because: These are the same person, born the same date, to the same parents, married to the same man, also duplicate profiles

A false link between this Maryland Norwood family and a Virginia-South Carolina Norwood family occurred when a Samuel from that family, born 1714 was attached to Mary Mullikin as his mother, but born the same year. That Samuel has been disconnected.

Born in 1714, there's NO way she married Samuel Norwood born in 1669. The Samuel she married was born in 1706. He's listed here as her son, born the same year, (father of John.)
