I love WikiTree and have been a member since 2014 and a Project Leader at two separate times, including most recently from 2020 to 2022. I co-led the Connectors Project and you can almost always find me working on the monthly Connectors Challenge.
Most of my recent work over the past two years has been focused on the Netherlands, primarily in the province of Friesland. The Netherlands Project is full of amazingly helpful and knowledgeable people and I can't overstate how much I've learned from them. : )
When I'm not focusing on WikiTree and genealogy, I am an avid collector of vintage and antique books. Sitting in my library surrounded by books is one of my favorite pastimes.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel in Hill with a BA in Linguistics and from the University of North Texas with an MBA in Finance, but obviously my actual passions lie elsewhere. : )
I can be slow to respond to email, but if you join our WikiTree Discord Channel, you'll likely get a response from me almost immediately if I'm online.

It has been a good while since the Magna Carta Project asked members to check-in. We are interested now in updating our membership list and making sure that it accurately reflects our current membership. We would greatly appreciate your timely response to the following questions:
1. Would you like to continue as a member of the Magna Carta Project?
2. Do you have any interest in taking a more active role in the project and, if so, what might you be interested in doing?
3. If your interests have changed and/or you no longer have time to participate in the project, would you like to remain a member of the google group and continue receiving updates about project activities?
If you do wish to continue as a project member, please either post a response to this message or send me a private email. If we do not hear from you by October 16th we will assume you are exploring different interests and no longer wish to be involved with the project.
with warmest regards,
Jen, Magna Carta Project co-leader
I noticed you recently created Boonstra-862 (Tytje Aukes Boonstra). Here is a death record should you wish to update:

Thank you for thanking me for creating the profile of Jacob Gejas (Gejas-15). By mistake I made Antoon Immel the biological father of Jacob Gejas but it was probably only his stepfather because Antoon Immel is never mentioned as Jacob's father and Jacob didn't use the name Antoon for one of his sons. When Jacob's mother died in 1859, Jacob was sent to the orphanage het Nieuwe Stadsweeshuis in Leeuwarden. Probably because Antoon didn't want to raise a stepchild. I removed Antoon Immel as father of Jacob Gejas, so his father in unknown now.
We recently left a message on your profile to check in with the Profile Improvement Project (PIP). If you would like to continue with the Project, please let us know.
We would like to hear from you with any ideas or suggestions. If you do not wish to participate in the Project, please let us know. If we don’t hear from you within 14 days we will remove you from the Project, but we will welcome you back at any time.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project
Robin Shaules, Project Coordinator, Profile Improvement Project
The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing a check-in with project members. Please review the following and let us know if you are content where we have placed you or would like to be more involved.
The Project operates in a team structure. There are currently three participant PIP Teams -- The Maintenance Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and the Biography Team. There is also the Voyage Team which guides new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team.
You're currently identified as a member of the Biography Team Level 1. Biography Team Level 1 works on profiles from their watchlist and other profiles that interest them. Biography Team Level 2 works on orphaned profiles from a provided list. Biography Team Level 3 works on notable profiles from the Project’s Maintenance Categories. Are you happy with the Team you are on? If you are interested in working with a different Team, please let us know.
If you have not already done so, we invite you to join the email GoogleGroup. We use the WikiTree Discord server #profile-improvement channel for our project. Neither is required; we also use the Profile_Improvement tag in G2G for Project announcements.
We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project meet its goals. We would like to hear about the successes you’ve had and would also appreciate any feedback you have to help improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or via private message to one of us.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Kay Knight, Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

During the winter, the Nordic Project performed check-ins, sent as a private message from your profile. You are one of those members who has not replied, and this is a last chance to get in touch and let me know if you like to continue as member in the Nordic Project.
Please answer this comment, and get in touch by sending me a private message. If we have not heard from you within a month you will be removed from the Nordic google group and your badge will be removed.
If you have not received any check-in emails, you might want to check that your email address for WikiTree is one you actually still use.
Thank you!
Missy Berryann Co-Leader, Nordic Project
Thank you for participating in the April 2022 Connect-a-Thon. With your help we added 3,109 profiles as a team and the whole WikiTree community sourced 84,388 profiles. Your help during this event and with each profile you added you helped improve the amount of connections on WikiTree.
Thank you, Astrid, Colleen, Eef, and Margreet
P.S. We hope you will join our Annual Liberation Day Challenge from May 4 till May 10.
We wrote to you about the check-in for Profile Improvement Project (PIP) a couple of weeks ago. Would you like to continue in Biography Team Level 1 where we have placed you? That's the Team that works on improving profiles from both your own watchlist and projects you are involved with to Level 1 of the PIP Profile Standards.
If you do not wish to participate in the Project, please let us know. If we don’t hear from you within 7 days we will remove you from the Project, but we will welcome you back at any time. We would like to hear from you with any ideas or suggestions.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Robin Shaules Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project
Thank you for your contributions to the March 2022 Sourcerers Challenge! As you know, every source added to an unsourced profile improves our One Tree. Thank you for taking time from your own family history to help others.
WT Appreciation Team
The Profile Improvement Project (PIP) is performing its first annual check-in with our project members. Please review the following and let us know if you are content where we have placed you or would like to be more involved.
We are in the process of transitioning to a team structure. There will be three participant PIP Teams to start -- The Maintenance Category Team, the Unknowns Team, and the Biography Team. There is also the Voyage Team which guides new Voyagers. See the Profile Improvement Project Teams for a brief outline of each team.
You're currently identified as a member of the Biography Team Level 1, working on profiles from your own watchlist and whatever else you find. Biography Teams Levels 2 and 3 will work on designated profiles for notables (Level 3) and everyday people (Level 2). Please let us know if you would like to help with a higher-level Bio Team or one of the other Teams.
You joined the Project before the Voyage started in late 2018. We would like to invite you to consider a "fast track" Voyage, especially if you would like to work at a higher level on the Biography Team. If you’re interested, choose a profile from your own watchlist that you have completed to the best of your ability and compare it to the Voyage Biography Standards. If your profile is at Level 2 or better, include a link to the profile in your response to this check-in for a “fast track” review.
We would also like to invite you to join the email GoogleGroup and text chat Discord channel for our project. (When you request to join our GoogleGroup, please be sure to include your Wiki ID). Neither is required; we also use the Profile_Improvement tag in G2G for Project announcements. You will find more information on the GoogleGroup.
We thank you for all you do to help the Profile Improvement Project and WikiTree. The Project’s mission is to:
We know you’re working on profiles *smile* We would like to hear about successes you’ve had toward the Project’s goals. We would also appreciate any feedback you might have to help us improve the Project. Please share your thoughts in a reply to this comment or privately via private message to either of us.
Sincerely,
Debi Hoag and Robin Shaules Co-Leaders, Profile Improvement Project

We're so happy to see you are still active on WikiTree and caring about the Dutch profiles. The Dutch Roots Project is looking forward to give the project a new fresh start to put the Dutch in a more prominent place on the WikiTree map. The project is currently managing over 50,000 profiles and the total number of Dutch profiles on WikiTree exceeds 500,000! Within the project we are monitoring the quality of the Dutch profiles and assisting other WikiTreers in producing those profiles. We would love to pick up some other tasks but to do so we need more volunteers. This is why we check in with the members of the DRP to see if you would like to help us expand.
1) Would you like to do some volunteer work for the Dutch Roots Project? 2) If yes, what kind of work would you prefer to do within the Dutch Roots Project? E.g. translating, sourcing, or something else you want to work on?
We hope for a positive reaction but please don't feel obliged to volunteer. We just want to have a group of persons we can ask to help us with certain activities
Kind regards,
Margreet, on behalf of the Dutch Roots Project
Thank you for participating in the 2021 Source-a-Thon. Great job! With your help we sourced 3,098 profiles as a team. The whole WikiTree community sourced 56,972. Your help during this event and each source you add improves the site greatly.
Thank you,
Michel, Astrid, and Colleen

Thanks for posting, Jayme!
We have noticed that a citation by Genealogietools.nl does not always contain a correct link to the Openarch source.
Therefore we kindly ask you to remove the link to Openarch if there's already a link to the Wiewaswie website. Or check the link to Openarch.
Otherwise we need to correct all the incorrect url's afterwards.
Thank you!
Thanks Enoch Stuivenberg
