Leah was born in 1880. She passed away in 1971.

Leah was born October 19, 1880 in Kentucky. Her parents were Levi Webb and Marinda Mullins.

On the 1900 census, she was listed as a 20 year old, white female living in Lawrence County, Kentucky in the household of her brother-in-law, Willis Combs. On the census, her name is incorrectly listed as Lillie. Others in the household were her mother, Marinda Mullins; son, Chester Combs; Chester's wife (and probably Leah's sister), Mary Combs; and nieces and nephews: Livena Combs, Rosa Combs, Curtis Combs, Laura Combs, Stella Combs, Wesley Combs, and Lizzie Combs. According to the census, she worked as a day laborer, and she could not read or write. Her birthplace and the birthplaces of her parents were listed as Kentucky. ^[1]
