Biography

John's parents were born in Kentucky.

John's WWI and WWII draft registration cards have him living in Dallas County, Texas, but in 1930 he and his wife Birdie were living in Long Beach, California. At some point they moved back to California, as his wife dies there in the 1960s and John in 1973.

His WWI draft card describes him as short and of medium build, with blue eyes and brown hair.
