Biography

George Howard Mundy son of bank manager George Baily Mundy was born in 1872 ^[1] and was baptised at St Swithun, Walcot on the 18th of December. ^[2] Like his father George went into banking and in 1891 was still living with his family though his mother had died and the family had moved to Warminster in Wiltshire. ^[3]

In 1900 he married Alice Martha Kendall. ^[4]His father died on 11 December 1904 by which time he had given up banking and become a commercial traveller. ^[5]

In 1911 he and Alice were living in Poole in Dorset with their daughter, Olive. ^[6]

George died on 31 March 1947 at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Bournemouth. ^{[7] [8]}
