Biography
Benjamin was a farmer on his own land on what is now Munn Avenue, East Orange. He was one of the members in communion with the Mountain Society in 1756. He married Jemima Pierson, daughter of Joseph Pierson. Among their children are:

- Bethuel, b. 1755; m. Rachel, dau. of Joseph Dodd; d. 1779
- David, b. 16 Dec 1761, m. Abigail, dau. of Moses Baldwin
