Biography

John Read Munn was born in 1806.^[1] He was the only son of Henry Munn and his wife Harriet Lewis. A graduate of Worcester College, Oxford, he was ordained a Church of England priest and became curate of Dallington and Burwash in Suusex. In 1831 he married Rosalie Greene,^[2] and they had six children. He later served as incumbent of St John's, Brighton, and finally as rector of Ashburnham with Penhurst until his death in 1878.^[3]
