Harold (Phillips) Condon was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
According to online trees Harold was born Harold Walter Phillips on 15 Sep 1894 at Carlton, Victoria, the son of William Phillips and Mary Phoebe Hassan. [1]
Adoption. After his mother died, just before his first birthday, Harold was taken in by James Condon and Margaret (Maisie) Mary Jane Munn. In 1908, after divorcing James Condon, Maisie married John Cashman.
Harold became known as Harold James Condon.
Death. Harold James Condon passed away 1951, aged 56 years. His death was registered Parkville, giving Bairnsdale as his birthplace and naming his parents as James Condon and Mary Margaret Cashman.[2]

DEATHS
CONDON.—On February 22, Harold, the dearly loved husband of Lilian, of 119 Toorak road, Camberwell, dearest father of Phyllis (Mrs. A. West), Fay (Mrs. R. Newson), dear grandpa of Frances West and Leonie Newson.

Cremation. Following a service held 23rd February, 1951, his remains were cremated at Springvale Botanical Cemetery and his ashes placed in the Tristania portion, Wall 2B, Niche 439.[4]
In 1954, Harold was named in his adoptive mother's death notices. [5]
