Biography

Birth

Allen Munroe was born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts) on 30 Dec 1805, the son of John Monroe and Mary Bisbee (Keene) Munroe.[1]

Marriages

  1. Allen Munroe married Mary W. Furber, who died on 22 Jan 1834 at the age of 21, according to a gravestone at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo, Maine, which identifies her as the wife of Allen Munroe and the daughter of P. P. and Mehitable Furber.[2]
  2. Allen Munroe married Mary Ann Perley of Milo, Maine.[3][4] The death record of Ann M. Moores, who died in 1912 at the age of 72, says she was born at Guilford, Maine, and identifies her parents as Allen Monroe and Mary Perley, both born at Livermore, Maine.[5]
  3. Allen Munroe married Mary Howard, who died on 5 Apr 1865 at the age of 32, according to a gravestone at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo, Maine, which identifies her as the wife of Allen Munroe and the daughter of Silas and Betsey Howard.[6]

Death

Allen Munroe died on 16 Jun 1883.[3] His gravestone at the Evergreen Cemetery in Milo, Maine, says that he died on that date at the age of 87 years, 5 months, 16 days.[7]
