Dinah Murch was born to Richard Murch and Mary (Pound) Murch. She was baptised on 28 December 1774 in West Alvington, Devon, England. [1] A birthdate is unlikely to be forthcoming, as there were no birth certificates at that period, and only the baptism was recorded.
On 17 January 1804 in Malborough, Devon, Dinah married John Stumbles, a stonemason from nearby South Milton. [2] Together, the couple had three children: Jemima 1804, George 1809, and James 1812. Dinah lived in Malborough all her life, and died there, aged only 45. [3]
Dinah was born in 1774. She is the daughter of Richard Murch and Mary Pound.
