Research Notes
Her brother is listed as a grandson in William Cook’s house in 1861 and 1871. She and a sister, Elizabeth, are listed as granddaughters in William Cook’s house in 1881. It looks like the same William Cook, judging from the age, birthplace, and relationship to the Murdens. It seems like a pretty big coincidence, if these are lookalikes.

With the daughters, I also found them listed in censuses with parents—Henry Murden and Jane (Cook) Murden: [1]

That same William Cook, listed as the children’s grandfather, did have a daughter Jane of the right age and birthplace. I know it is the same William, because his wife and his other children were still living in the house when George Murden came to live with them by 1861. See:
