Biography

Edith Kathryn Murphy was born in Canada about 1888 ^[1] or Minnesota ^[2].

Edith's mother died around 1891-1892. ^[3]

In the year 1895 she was in the home of Thomas and Louisa Daly, in Winona County, Minnesota.^[1]

In 1900, she was living in the Thomas Daily household in Utica Township, Winona, Minnesota. ^[4]

In 1910, she was living in the John Hinderer household in St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota. ^[5]

30 Jun 1914 - Edith married Peter Hurley of Pocatello, Idaho. The marriage took place at the Catholic church in Lewiston, Winona, Minnesota. Members of the bridal party were John Steinmetz, Fred Hinderer, Frances Daley, Marie Hinderer, Frances Murphy, and Stephen Hurley. Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride's uncle, Thomas Daley . The couple would be living in Pocatello, Idaho after their wedding trip. ^{[6] [7]}
