Biography

Henry Murphy is a part of US Black heritage.

Henry was born on 2 Jul 1908 in North Carolina, son of Patrick Murphy and Mariah (Jackson) Murphy.

He married Rosa Boykin in New York in 1930.^[1]

In 1940 they were living in Brooklyn with 5 children. Henry was working as an automobile mechanic.

In 1950, he and his wife had separated and he was living with his brother Andrew. Henry was now working as a truck driver.

Henry passed away in New York in 1961.
