Harry Murphy was born in July 13, 1875 in Springfield, Sangamon County, Illinois.[1] He was the son of George Murphy and Melinda Downing. At age 5, he was in his parent's home in Mosquito Township, Christian, Illinois, along with his siblings, James-18, Lousa-16, Charled-13, Cora-11, Annie-10, and Albert-7. [2]
He married Elizabeth Lorton Myers on 19 Sep 1897 Muskogee Co, Oklalahoma.[3]
He passed away on April 1, 1908, at the age of 32, in Bolivar, Polk County, Missouri, and was bured in the Bolivar City Cemetery.[1]
