She married Walter Murray in Ireland 1909[2].
A daughter Mary Amelia (Maisie) was born there in 1909.
Christina migrated to New Zealand with her sister, mother and daughter, in 1912[3].
Initially Christina lived with her mother and with her daughter Maisie in Dunedin.
When Walter's military service ended he also migrated to New Zealand and another child, William, was born about 1922.
Christina and Walter later moved to Christchurch, with the intention of looking after the children of Christina's sister May, after their carer Mary Murphy (Deasy) died in 1931.
