Wetzel Co., WV Obituaries, Vol II, pp 35. Mrs. Glendenning, an aged and respected lady, who lived in the North end of town, died last Saturday night of gastro-intestinal catarrh, after a lingering illness of some months. She was about 78 years old, and leaves a husband and several children, among whom are Mrs. J.J. Hill of Brooklyn and G.W. Glendenning of Tyler county. Funeral services were held in the M. E. Church, Rev. Harkness officiating, and the remains were interred at the Williams cemetery on last Monday. [1]
