TAYLOR, Ardythe "Joyce" - 73, Wolfville, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Aylesford, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Mary Ellen (Acker) Murphy. She enjoyed cooking and had been employed in the kitchen of the former Colonial Inn, Wolfville and the former White Spot Restaurant and Motel, New Minas. She was an avid seamstress and had a passion for reading and gardening. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Juanita Taylor and Beverley (Pierre) Morin, both of Alberta; Heather (Bill) Milligan, Black River, Kings Co.; Greg (Sandra), Alberta; sisters, Ruth Dorey, New Brunswick; Helen (Percy) Foster and Peggy (Fred) Weihers, both of Aylesford; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Nancy Lynn, Michael, Jacob, Patrick and Paige; great-grandchildren; special friends, Jeanie VanBuskirk, Wolfville; Marvin Hiltz, Greenwich; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Taylor; sister, Thelma Veinott; brothers, Stedman MacKay, William, Cecil and George Murphy and an infant brother, John Jr. Visitation will be held 7-9 p.m. Monday, August 27, in White Family Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 28, Rev. Robert Billings officiating. Burial will take place in Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital or Canadian Diabetes Association.
