Edward had either seven or eleven children; This figure is blurred but in Court it's stated he had seven children. Does this account for any children who didn't reach adulthood? He married Ann on his deathbed.

He crossed the Tasman to try his luck in New Zealand. Seven years later his parents Michael and Margaret and their family joined him. They sailed from Youghal Harbour on the 4th July 1847 on the "Sir Robert Sale". They settled in Howick about 16 Kms from Central Auckland where they were granted a block of land in return for Military services if necessary. (unsourced)
