Hi!

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Pre-1700_Profiles. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many WikiTree members, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Best wishes for your research

Hi Anonymous,

Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

If you will be working with any profiles needing GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

PS If you didn't intend for your given name to show as Anonymous, put your name in both the First Name at Birth and Preferred First Name. You can also put a nickname in Preferred First Name like I have done with mine to show Debi. If you did want to be Anonymous, that's OK too. In that case, I recommend editing your profile to remove the sentence that was added when you created your profile.

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

Every one I am back now for the rest of the time . Stacy could you up date us with our ranking, team total, plus indiviudals totals also. Sorry for not being here and not doing much but real life knows to rear it ugly head during the a - thons for my family. My sisters husband sister, niece, nephew and his mom came in yesterday evening so they today after church to eat with them then we went to Gray, Tennessee fossil site. Then I came home eat and then went to church. I did not even get to see my dad today because of that but I need that time with them. So I am going to finish the rest of the time till it ends. Also thank Stacy for helping me and Martha out with this. Also has anyone on the team win any stuff also

What I said down below. Listen to live chat. Cheer everyone on the team and encourage them and keep up to date tallies on the team and every team mate that is participating and what they are doing even the end tally because I can't use the tracker I am using a free space page to be able to let them know what I have done. If anyone has questions try to answer them if you can if you can't go to Eowyn and ask her. I will let the team know when I will not be doing the source - a - thon and tell them to go to you about questions they have. Right now it will be Friday night and Saturday till about 1:00 in the afternoon. Then on Sunday morning and Sunday night when I go to church with my sister. Thanks

What it curtails like on tomorrow night I might go over to my mother house to help her get things settled that we got moved up here this year since November of last year. We sold our house in Loudon August 28th. So we have everything up here at my brother's business, my sisters garage and my mom's garage. I might be even helping her during the day tomorrow also. Plus on Sunday morning and Sunday night when I go to church. I might be even helping her on Saturday morning after I spend the night at her house. What you need to do is listen if you do to the source - a - thon chat on google and let the team know who wins prizes. I appreciate you pitching in since Martha isn't participating in this because she is gone this year I should be able to participate in it a lot more. I will let the team know when I can't and to go to you for answers to their questions. For the last two years especially last year real life has hit the Barnetts royally a lot. This a - thon should be better for me to be a real captain I hope unless in the morning real life rears it ugly head at the Barnetts. Thanks again.

Stacy, when this starts you might have to take the lead and help me a lot. Right now we are having problems with my dad. We have moved him today from rehab to John Reed Nursing Home memory care unit they have in Limestone, Tennessee which is closer to my sister and my house. We might have to take him off of dialysis and get hospice in. So I might be tied up some with that but I going to try to lead the all weekend if possible. Will you be willing to pitch in and help me for this a - thon.
