A source suggests wife was born in Scotland, but doesn't mention that Captain James Murray was a native of Scotland.
Note MURRAY, JAMES, son of William Murray, was born about 1729, in Scotland; died February 15, 1804, on his farm adjoining the borough of Dauphin, Dauphin, county, Pa. For this farm, he entered an application in the Land Office in 1768.
The McMahan History has him as a colonel but the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) have him as a captain. (It is his uncle James Murray who was the Colonel Amy Golder-Cooper )
Note N79On form for Sons of the American Revolution the date of birth is July 4 1736 and he died April 1, 1817. Birth would be after the mother was 60 so I am not sure of the mother's birth date. (This is information for the uncle Colonel James Murray, buried in Chillisquaque Cemetery. Amy Golder-Cooper)

I've reformatted the profile to align with style rules. I believe I've retained all the information that was in the file. I believe some of the Span ID data could be deleted - but have left for the profile owners to decide.
If anyone is concerned with the changes, please revert back to the previous version.
Murray-15434 and Murray-7108 appear to represent the same person because: Both seem to refer to Captain James Murray of Dauphin County, Pennsylvannia. Same birth and death dates. More sources needed. Thanks for reviewing.
