Biography
Mary was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Alfred Murray and Ann Pears.
She married a Mr Watson who passed away before 1899; details unclear. She then married widower John Serapio Parkes in Pietermaritzburg on 13 February 1899.[1]

This marriage did not work out and in he divorced her in 1905.[2]
Mary was 83 years old when she passed away in the Victoria Home, East London, on 18 November 1938.[3][4][5]
