Biography

John was born in 1856 to William Lee Murrell and Mary Anne Hume.^[1] He married Lillian Mary Ford in 1888.^[2][3], and had two children in New South Wales:

1. Nancy Rhoda (Murrell) Stewart (1891-1960)
2. Stella Mary Murrell (1890-1969)

They moved to New Zealand were John was the manager of Huddart Parker Ltd.^[4], and had two children while in New Zealand:

1. Hina (Murrell) Rawlinson (1894-1934)
2. David John ^[5]

He passed away on the 2nd of April 1933.^[6][7][8], and was mentioned on a memorial in Karori Cemetery and Crematorium, Wellington, Wellington City, Wellington, New Zealand with a death date of 2 April 1933.^[9]
