Biography

Mary was born in 1882. She also went by the name Mary "Jospehine". She was the daughter of James Murtha and Mary Joyce^[1][2].

She married Thomas O Nourse in 1902 in Guildford, Western Australia^[3]. Their daughter Bernice wrote in 1986 Mother said she was brought up by an aunt and uncle from the time she was very young. I don't know why I didn't find out their names. Anyway, she went to a Catholic school and was taught by the nuns. My Dad came out from England ...My mother didn't look like the sisters of hers that I met. They both had auburn hair and freckles (Aunt Meg and Aunt Allie) but mother had black hair and brown eyes, was very tall and slim...^[4]

She passed away in 1968 at the Providence Hospital, Everett, WA, USA, ^[5].
