Arthur David Musgrave was born on 10 March 1874 and christened in Adelaide on 30 March 1874. He was the second son of Sir Anthony Musgrave, Governor of South Australia, and his second wife, Jeanie Lucinda Field, daughter of David Dudley Field.[1][2]
He married first to Gladys Ethel Jeddore-Fisher on 23rd September 1912 at Godstone, Surrey.[3] Gladys passed away in 1914.
He married a second time, to Gwendolen Purey-Cust on 4th May 1927 at St George Hanover Square, London.[4]
Arthur was a Brigadier General in the Royal Artillery.
He passed away of heart failure on 12th September 1931 in Scotland, while on a sport shooting expedition. He is buried with the Musgrave family in St Swithun Churchyard, East Grinstead, West Sussex, England.[5]
