-Northampton Daily Chronicle 22.12.1916 "Killed, Private Melburne Muskett, Bedford Regiment. Son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Muskett, Church Stowe, near Weedon, and brother of Mrs. Elson, 66 Gordon Street, Northampton. Killed in action on Nov 13. A letter from Sergeant Hollingshead states that he was killed by a shell. He was 26 years of age and had been at the front about six months. Has another brother at the front with the Northants, who went out at the start of the war"
