Benito Mussolini is Notable.

Italy's 1st Fascist Dictator.

Mussolini was born in Dovia di Predappio, a small town in the province of Forlì in Romagna on 29 July 1883. His father Alessandro Mussolini was a blacksmith and a socialist, while his mother Rosa Mussolini (née Maltoni) was a devoutly Catholic schoolteacher. Mussolini was named Benito after Mexican reformist President Benito Juárez, while his middle names "Andrea" and "Amilcare" were from Italian socialists Andrea Costa and Amilcare Cipriani. Benito was the eldest of his parents' three children. His siblings Arnaldo and Edvige followed.

Mussolini was first married to Ida Dalser in Trento in 1914. The couple had a son one year later and named him Benito Albino Mussolini. In December 1915, Mussolini married Rachele Guidi, his mistress since 1910. With Rachele, Mussolini had two daughters, Edda (1910–1995) and Anna Maria (born 3 September 1929, Forlì, Villa Carpena – died 25 April 1968, Rome). Mussolini had several mistresses, among them Margherita Sarfatti and his final companion, Clara Petacci.

Mussolini and his mistress Clara Petacci were stopped by communist partisans, and shot on 28 April 1945, in the small village of Giulino di Mezzegra. The bodies were hung upside down on meat hooks in Milan.

Biografia

Primo dittatore fascista italiano.

Seguirono i suoi fratelli Arnaldo e Edvige.
