DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:
William Mutton married Grace Burnard on 1 July 1792 at Altarnun Cornwall. This information was sourced from the Find My Past website accessed 15/1/18 via a public library computer. I hope this can help. Was Grace William's second wife with Mary (Parsons) Mutton his first?
This would tie in with Richard who married Mary Short being John Mutton br1760 and Elizabeth Mutton Taylor half siblings Mary (Parsons) Mutton 1736-1809 was married to William Mutton brn1730 with John and Elizibeth as children. All these Muttons' lived in Altarnun.
As a side comment there is a Mutton Downs marked on the OS map near St Neot Cornwall not that far from Altarnun. (I can't update this profile)
