Jacob was born c.1812,[1] the son of David Myers and Mary Bradley. He is named as one of David's heirs, in probate papers dated 1842.[2]
1840[1] : Several sons of David and Mary are recorded consecutively in Monroe, Washington, IN, on the 1840 census :
Jacob Moyers (2 males aged 20-30, 1 male aged 15-20), 1 female aged 50-60, 1 female aged 15-20, 1 female under 5) - presumed to be Jacob with miscellaneous others - who were they?
Jonas Moyers (aged 20-30, 1 male aged 5-10, 1 male under 5, 1 female aged 20-30)
Notes
Misc. marriage records for Jacob Myers (evidence needed to confirm whether either or both is correct) :
to Darcus Nicholson in Washington, IN in 1834
to Polly Ann Brown, in Washington, IN in 1840
Evidence needed to confirm death details. Jacob was apparently named in probate papers for David in 1841, so is presumed to have been still living at that time.
