Lloyd was the first son, and one of ten children, born to Charles and Dora (Hawkins) Myers of Columbus, Kansas. He married Virginia Anderson Sept. 8th 1940 in Roseburg, Oregon. Their children are Beverly,Caryl and Marvin.
