Michael was born about 1709. He passed away in 1771.

[1] Michael Mayer/Mires/Myers, one of the sons of 17 17 Germanna immigrant George Mayer/Moyer, may have been born 12 September 1709 in Gross Sachsenheirn, Wurttemberg, or ca l72O/23 in Virginia. The first known Virginia record for Michael Myers was in August 1744 when he and his brother George witnessed a deed from their brother Christopher, and his wife Catherine, to Michael Clore. Michael Myers married first (wife unknown) before 1742 as has been proven by the tombstone marker of his daughter, Mary. The tombstone inscription in the Isenhour Family cemetery reads, "Mary Isenhour, wife of Nicholas and daughter of Michael Myers, died August 2, 1832, aged 90 years." Michael Myers married, second, Mary (Gerhard) Blankenbaker, daughter of John Gerhard and widow of George Blankenbaker, son of 1717 Germanna colonists Matthias Blankenbaker and Anna Maria Mercklin. It is not known whether his marriage occurred in Virpa or North Carolina since the Gerhard family, along with others from Orange Co., VA, moved to NC in the mid-1740's. Also, the date of his marriage has not been determined.
