Biography

LIMA -- Marilyn J. Diller, 91, died on March 16, 2022, at the Springs of Lima in Lima, Ohio. She was born September 20, 1930, in Columbus Grove to Daniel W. and Dorothy E. (Vandemark) Myers who preceded her in death.

On August 12, 1950, she married Paul E. Diller who died on December 23, 2021.

Marilyn was a homemaker. She enjoyed and loved her family and grandchildren very much. She was a member of Bluelick Bible Church in Lima, Ohio.

Survivors include two sons, Richard (Joyce) Diller of Elida, Mark (Lora) Diller of Van Wert, and daughter Elizabeth (Darrel) Kistler of Lima. Two brothers, Rev. William Myers of Blacklick and Allen (Hayan) Myers of Washington Court House, one sister Helen Wiswell of Columbus Grove and eight grandchildren, Amanda (Matt) Pitson, Joshua Kistler, Greg (Taylor) Diller and David Diller, Holly (Robert) Hatchett, Nathan Diller and Andrew Diller, Nicholas Mattevi and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by one brother Richard Myers and one sister Betty Humphreys.

The family would like to thank The Springs of Lima for all their wonderful care of both Paul and Marilyn. Also, thanks so very much to Rabe Chiropractic for their kindness over the years in caring for Marilyn.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Bluelick Bible Church from 4:00pm - 8:00pm. Friends may also call one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Service will begin at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Bluelick Bible Church with Pastor Jim Neighbors presiding. Burial will follow in the Vaughnsville Cemetery. ^[1]
