Louise was born on 5 May 1853 in Mogadore, Summit, Ohio, United States. She was the daughter of Francis Weaver Myers and Lydia (Mishler) Myers.[1]

Louise married Francis Weaver Myers on 2 September 1852 in Summit, Ohio, United States. The couple had 5 children: Louise Maria Myers, Grace Eugenia Myers, @I7333@, @I7334@ and @I7606@.[2][3][4][5]

When Louise was 24 she married William Clary Steele on 20 May 1877. The couple had 5 children: May Eugenia Steele, Homer Francis Steele, Grace Louise Steele, John E Steele and William Wallace Steele.[6]

In 1880 Louise (age about 26) was living in Springfield Township, Summit County, Ohio.[7]

In 1900 Louise (age about 46) was living in Plain, Stark, Ohio, United States.[8]

In 1919 Mrs. Steele decided that, since her husband's office was practically on the square, it was appropriate to have a community Christmas tree. So one was erected on the lawn of his office building. Thus, North Canton had its first community Christmas tree.
