Melissa Jane Myers was born on May 29, 1849, in Eagle Township, Clinton, Michigan, to Martin C. Myers and Edna Jane Eddy. Melissa married Uriaher N. Belcher on June 6, 1867, in Charlotte, Eaton Co., Michigan. Uriaher passed away in 1882. She then married John Arnold on April 8, 1882, in Portland, Ionia Co., Michigan. John passed away in 1905. Melissa then married William A. Guyot on March 25, 1907 in Stanton, Montcalm Co., Michigan. William would pass away in 1912. She then married Lee Roy Ritter on July 22, 1916 in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan. Melissa died on March 9, 1926, in Calhoun, Michigan, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Battle Creek, Calhoun, Michigan, United States.
