Andreas was born on November 30, 1863 in the village of Hoffnungstal in the Akkermann district of the Bessarabian area and Black Sea region of South Russia to Georg Naasz and Margaretha Mueller. He was the ninth of their 13 children. Andreas was baptized on December 5, 1863 and confirmed on April 13, 1878.[1][2][3]

On November 27, 1886, at the age of 22, Andreas married Maria Schaber (1866-1927).[3]

Immigration
Sometime in 1889, at the age of 26, Andreas immigrated to America.
Death
On July 31, 1927, at the age of 63, Andreas passed away in Nashville, KS. He is buried in Saint John Cemetery in Nashville.[4][5]
