He and his mother traveled to visit her family and returned to New York from Fiume, Hungary (now Rijeka, Croatia) in 1913.[3]
He studied at Washington University in St. Louis.[4]
He married Paula Schneider on 18 September 1934 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in St. Louis, Missouri.[5]
He was a violinist with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Symphony Orchestra.[6]
He died on 5 December 1992 in Newton, Middlesex County, Massachusetts[7] and was buried in Newton Cemetery.[8]
