Per “Britton & Dobbs Funeral Home Records, 1889-1971,” transcribed and edited by Patsy Daniel Wright (2010), p. 612: Mrs. A. V. BOATRITE, residing in Chattanooga, Tennessee, died 24 AUG 1928, aged 79 years, of carcinoma of stomach (no attending physician's name reported); interred 26 AUG 1928 in Linwood Cemetery.
