Biography
When Stephen NANCE was born on June 11, 1793, in Henry, Virginia, his father, Reuben, was 47 and his mother, Nancy, was 26. He married Sarah M. "Sally" HUGHES on June 6, 1814, in his hometown. They had seven children in 15 years. He died in 1852 in Tennessee at the age of 59.
