Francesca Napoli is born around 1781 in Corleone, the daughter of Leoluca Napoli and Lucia lo Cairo, who married in 1776. She is named after her maternal grandmother.
In 1811 Lucia Napoli, reportedly age 50 (b. 1761), lives on the strada di S. Caterina with Giuseppe Napoli, 40 (b. 1771), whose relationship is not given but is her son, and her daughter, Francesca, 30 (b. 1781).[1]
Francesca marries Vincenzo Catania, of unknown parents, on 7 January 1812. Her father has died by this time.[2]
Vincenzo and Francesca have at least two children, Giovanni (c. 1822) and Calogera (c. 1833).
In 1834, Vincenzo, 46 (b. 1787), Francesca, 47 (she is about 52, based on her reported age in 1811), and children Giovanni, 11 (b. 1822), and Calogera, 1 (b. 1833), live in the pianito off the strada di Bruno.[3]
Calogera marries Paolo Crescimanna on 9 September 1849. Francesca has died by this time. This record calls her by her mother's surname, "lo Cairo."[4]
