Biography

Mariano Napoli is born around 1718 in Corleone, the son of Pietro Napoli and Anna d'Ira.

Mariano marries Francesca Badulato on 8 January 1743. Their parents are all living at this time.

Mariano and Francesca have at least five children: Leoluca (c. 1745), Angela (c. 1745), Emmanuele (c. 1760), Lucia (c. 1761), and Anna (c. 1773).

Leoluca is born around 1745, based on his reported age at death.

I estimate Angela is born around 1745, twenty years before she marries.

I estimate Emmanuele is born around 1760, twenty years before he marries.

Lucia is born around 1761, based on her reported age at death.

Angela marries Ignacio Cusimano on 27 October 1765.[1]

Leoluca marries Giovanna d'Amari on 29 July 1777.

Emmanuele marries Luigia Amari, Giovanna's sister, on 13 August 1780. His parents are both living at this time.

Lucia marries Maestro Vincenzo L'Ala on 2 April 1788. Francesca has died by this time.

Death of Mariano

Mariano dies at age 72 (b. 1718) on 1 January 1791.[2]

Leoluca dies at age 61 (b. 1745) on 24 July 1806. This record calls his mother "Anna."

Emmanuele has died by 1837, when Luigia dies at the height of the first recorded cholera outbreak in western Europe.
