Research Notes

  1. Other names : Degillinozot, Degini, Kazo, Degini Koigo, etc...
  2. She was baptised and married Joseph Lavallée the same day in 1844
  3. She had to be born about 1807, she was 37 at her baptism in 1844.
  4. Five children are legitimized in 1844 when she marries Joseph Lavallée
  5. She must have died soon after in 1844 as Joseph remarried in 1845.
  6. She is most likely of Algonquin ancestry (more research needed)
