Biography

The son of Wilbur Nash Jr and Alice (Smith) Nash, David Nash was born in Beltsville, Maryland[citation needed] in 1929, residing with his family in Vansville, Maryland.[1] By 1940, David and his family lived in Brookeville, Maryland.[2]

David Nash enlisted in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, being discharged at the rank of Sergeant.[citation needed] After the war, he returned to Maryland, residing with his sister, Ellen Wachter, and her family in Baltimore, and working as an apprentice at a steel company.[3] He married and later made his home in Crownsville, Maryland,[4][5] He retired to Florida, residing in Kissimmee[6] and in Summerfield, Florida.[7]

David Nash passed away in Osceola County, Florida at the age of 76[8][9][10] and is buried at Historyland Memorial Park in King George, Virginia.[11]
