Biography

Joseph Nash, son of Thomas and Margery (Baker) Nash, was baptized on 15 February 1617/8 (the same date as his brother Timothy) at Ribbesford, Worcestershire,[1] Since his father was described as "of Bewdley"[2] and the church in Ribbesford at the time served both Ribbesford and Bewdley,[3] it is perhaps most likely that Joseph was born in Bewdley.

Joseph died in 1678. He was a corporal, resided in Hartford. He married (1) Mary _____ who d. 25 Dec 1654 in New Haven. He married (2) Margaret wisow of Arthur Smith who died 1693/4 , after marrying as her third husband Stephen Hart.[4]

Nash-488 and Nash-1560 appear to represent the same person because: Should only be one Joseph in the family. I had a message about checking the gender on the merge.

Please take care of completing the merge on this. Make sure we correct Joseph's gender, as well.
